Chingwen is a cinematographer based in Taipei, Taiwan. 

He is known for his versatility in creative styles and techniques, often working across narrative, documentary, and experimental films. He particularly enjoys challenging the boundaries and definitions of cinema. In recent years, he has begun exploring the use of celluloid as a medium in his creations.

His cinematography work, “The Textual Way of Contemporary Dialogue,” was selected for the Labo competition at the 2023 Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival. Another of his short films, “The Stag,” was selected for the short film competition at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival and won the International Short Film Jury Award.
